Who is the Real Abbott Florist???

We have spent sometime now trying to set ourselves apart from the evil order gathering companies. Unfortunately for us, when we first decided to take on this battle we didn't realize what we were in for.
We decided that instead of trying to expand our business out to more area clientele that we would concentrate on making sure our current clients were able to find us on the internet, since that is where we all start these days!
When we first started Googling ourselves we discovered there is a company out there posing as Abbott Florist-named appropriately enough Abbotts Florist. They go so far as to pay for top ad placement on Google with information such as being located in Turnersville (which they are not), or "We Are the Real Abbott", or "Real Florists". We often times get calls and complaints from our area customers about services rendered from this site. Yet low and behold that isn't us. As a matter of fact the company that poses as us is part of huge order gathering company called Kay's Florist. You can read a rather interesting article about them here. Beware! This company is linked to blossomflorists.com, kaysflorist.com, galleryflorist.com, jodysflowersandgifts.com, abbottsfloristandgifts.com, abbottsflorist.com, floristdeliverytoday.com, floristdeliveryusa.com, sendingofflowers.com, online4florist.com. This company is spending big money in deceit and their target is you! We have been spending some extra money to make sure you get to us to receive the best possible service you deserve. We love what we do and it shows in the products we offer.
We hope you find the article above enlightening and help keep local business local. Thank you so much for your continual support.

It's Spring Time and that means it is Wedding Season!

In the spirit of the wedding season, we thought we would do an informational post for the Brides to be. We often get questions about the symbolic meanings of wedding flowers. So in an effort to further your wedding flower knowledge we decided to blog about some popular floral selections. We start with the Calla Lily but we will be adding more!

The Calla Lily is a wedding favorite because symbolically it means magnificent beauty! The Calla Lilie's name came from the Greek word Kallos that means beauty. They are one of the most gentle and delicate flowers in appearance. The flower has been associated for elegance and charm for generations. Adding Calla Lilies to the wedding, you create an incomparable elegance, sophistication, and charm to the wedding. They come in a variety of colors including classic white, yellow, orange, red and purple.

The Calla Lily first became popular in the United States after the movie Stage Door was released that starred Katherine Hepburn. "The Calla Lilies are in bloom again. Such a strange flower—suitable to any occasion. I carried them on my wedding day, and now I place them here in memory of something that has died."

If you have a wedding coming up and are interested in adding classic Callas to your wedding arrangements stop in and see us. We would be happy to go over some suggested bouquets and color combinations that will make your special day perfect!
